Runescape Classic

Posted by Spencer On February - 2 - 2010

Remember the good old days of playing RuneScape Classic , before JAGeX decided to close it and launch RuneScape 2 instead? Well thankfully RSCEmulation does, and has brought out a RuneScape Classic private server so the thousands of players who miss RSC can play RuneScape Classic once again!
Runescape Classic
Unlike other fake private servers, RSCEmulation is the real deal and regularly has in excess of 200 players online at once. It’s well established and widely known as the best RuneScape Classic private server in existence!

Launched on 24th August, 2009, it already has over 20,000 registered players and it’s still growing daily. The experience rate is 20 times what it was on RuneScape Classic so it’s very easy to train your perfect characters without devoting years of your life to it. We highly recommend that you give it a shot, 20,000 players can’t be wrong!

Have a go and be sure to let us know what your thoughts are on this server!

The Sims 3 Store

Posted by Spencer On January - 5 - 2010

EA Games are releasing a store for The Sims 3.

In the store you will be able to purchase for ‘real cash’ sim points in which with these points you can spend on “all new sets”. These include things like furniture, and clothes etc…

The Sims 3 store aims to provide the sims 3 players with new object collections monthly.

It seems as though Sim Points are just a pretty cover up for your cash. Although you can register your sims 3 game and get your first 1000 points free! Thats  free sims points for everyone that registers their game.

The only flault I see in this, is once someone has the downloaded/purchased object file im sure they could just send it to friends or upload it to the net somewhere else. Lets see how EA tackle this.

Heres a preview of the sims 3 store

And heres their short trailer for the store..

Crysis Coop Mod Beta Released!

Posted by Spencer On December - 13 - 2009
You may remember a post a while ago about a Crysis coop mod, which now seems to have come to a halt. So if your still following the footsteps of that old mod you’ve found the right page.

And Now The Crysis Co-op Mod from Fudsine…

I recently ran over another Crysis Co-op mod by Fudsine, I’ve watched a few trailers on youtube for the mod. The mod seems to be running smooth from the previews.
The mod beta was officially released today ( a year from when the mod was originally started ). Here’s the official Cry Mod Page for the co op mod.

Heres a glympse of the mod in action (video below).  The modding crew have created a custom map called Frozen Apocalypse. This is the map is the only one avaliable in the beta version of the mod.

I had spoke to Fudsine this morning, he said that he encountered a problem when uploading the mod today but the link was fixed and Crysis co op mod can be downloaded here: Click Here to Download.

I have created a rediscussed mirror for the mod beta: crysis download mirror.

There are no minimum requirements for the mod but they do recommend to run the server dedicated and on a quad core machine, because the AI requires quite a bit of CPU processing power. I’ll set the mod up on a dedicated server later if i have the time. If i do i’ll be sure to update you lot with a post!

GL HF, Enjoy the mod!

Just Cause 2 Overview

Posted by Spencer On November - 29 - 2009
Just Cause 2 is a game produced by avalanche studios, a swedish game developer.
Named after the game development team Avalanche studios, they have created a game engine called the “Avalanche Engine” also the “Avalanche Engine 2″ which Just cause 2 will be run on.

Just Cause 2 Gameplay

Just cause 2 is not set in any real location instead it is set on a fictional island of Southeast Asia called Panau. Just  Cause 2 will be a 3rd person shooter in an open world, free roaming styled game-play. The gameplay looks great and the animations quite flowing as it does have alot of transitions from driving to flying and ofcourse running on land. There are many weapons of choice including explosives such as C4 and Rockets!

Just Cause 2 will be publish in 2010 on the 23rd of March in North America and 26th of March in Europe by Eidos Interactive.

There had already been 2 set backs for Just Cause 2’s release date one to 2009 and now as it currently stands 2010. I think this will be the official release date. Well lets hope they get it working right, it’s best to keep people waiting then to release a game that has bugs and errors and is incomplete. The game will be available on PC, PS3 and XBOX 360

Oh and just one last comment on the Avalanche 2 Game Engine it looks GREAT!
