Iron man the movie is out for us to see this year, Iron man being one of the many great marvel heroes (and my favorite one) is going to be a must see for lots of people of all ages at the cinema in may. Iron man is suppose to be released on the 2nd of May. You’ve probably seen other movies that are based apon other marvel super heroes such as Spiderman, which i feel have been a good series of movies on a whole. It looks as if as though this movie iron man will be taken at a more serious style approach some how.
The main story or plot line
When Tony Stark is forced to create a life support suit to keep him alive after an accident he decides to use the technology in his suit to fight crime.
‘I am Iron Man’
Dialog speaking to reporter in the iron man trailer:
News Reporter: “Mr stark, you’ve been called the divinche of our time what do you say to that?”
Mr Stark / Iron Man: “Absolutley Ridiculous, I don’t paint”
News Reporter: “What do you say to your other nickname?… ‘Merchant of death’”
Mr Stark / Iron Man: “That’s not bad.”
( All this was said whilst keeping a straight face )
You can get a taste of the humor that the main character Iron man / Tony Stark has once you have seen the trailer, and it generally looks like a movie well worth going to see.
The Movie Effects
What looks good?
The story could be a downfall i wouldn’t know just yet, but it doesn’t look like its going to be much of a problem by the looks of the plot outline and its obviously not got a imdb rating just yet over at The Internet Movie Database, but we’ll have to see it soon. So my expectations are pretty high. The CGI looks great and not just that but effects that don’t use CGI are implemented just as well, like some explosions.
Acting, Actors and Actresses
The actor Robert Downey Jr is playing the main role of Iron Man as Tony Stark. He seems fit for the position and looks like he will do a good job on the whole of the movie. Robert Downey Jr has also starred in the movies, Lucky You, Zodiac, and A Scanner Darkly (although I did not really enjoy the Cartoonized movie starring Robert Downey Jr ), you may also notice some other actors or actresses that you have seen before in other movies, like Gwyneth Paltrow that starred in the movie Austin Powers in Goldmember.
Iron Man Trailer
I’d recommend first watching the trailer if you have not already.
Oh and also Check out the site www.IronManMovie.com, and watch the high definition trailer.
I will be going to watch this at the cinema i also recommend you highlight the date May the 2nd on your Calendar !

Apple have now brought out the thinnest notebook in the world!
The Macbook Air.
This amazing macbook is under 1 inch in thickness and weighs in at 3.0 pounds. This is the most portable macbook / laptop that has every hit the shops and if you are thinking of getting one then it would not be a mistake.
This ultrathin Apple notebook has a 13.3 inch widescreen which is LED backlit and has the same viewbale size screen as any other Macbook. This high resolution screen can give you 1280 by 800 resolution which gives even the lowest quality images an impressive look.
The Apple Macbook Air has all the benefits of high definition but in a very slim design.
Apple have given the Macbook Air the same keyboard as the standard Macbooks have but have added there own little twist to give you that little extra. Every key on the Apple Macbook Air has backlit illumination which makes it much easier to work in an area they does not contain a great amount of light such as meeting halls and taxis.
Not only does the Macbook Air have backlit keys they each have there own light sensor which automatically adjusts the keyboard to display the correct brightness for the best possible visibility.
Macbook Air has an oversized touch pad which has multi touch technology. This allows you to rotate, zoom, swipe or even pinch text or images for adjustments. This is the same input as the iTouch and iPhone.
On the side of the Apple Macbook Air there is a flip down hatch to reveal all the ports you will including USB 2.0, headphone jack and a small DVI port which supports DVI, Composite, VGA and S-video outputs.
Macbook Air contains 2 gb of RAM and an impressive 80gb hard drive which allows lots of storage space.
Apple have included a built in iSight camera which is so small you can hardly see it. This allows you to chat online to anyone else in the world wherever you are. Very handy.
You will have a full wireless lifestyle with the Apple Macbook Air.
The Macbook Air comes with a 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR built in.
I hope my review for the new Apple Macbook Air has answered some of your questions.
Thanks for looking (”,)

With rumors of assassins creed PC requirements being at the high end of technology today, pushing forth our hardware manufacturer’s to produce greater speed components, for our daily need of gaming.
Ubisoft have produced some top quality games so a high PC spec for assassins creed did not come as a shock, that was until we saw them…
The following are the PC minimum requirements for assassins creed. (but are not yet confirmed)
I’m not sure is this is a very high profile game meaning, amount of hype and fans it has already but Lost the game looks pretty cool of what I’ve heard and seen of it already. Being developed by Ubisoft Montreal, is going to have a good leg to stand on from the start.
The current release date for the lost game is February 2008!
Video Game Lost Story
As a passenger of Oceanic flight 815, you survived the crash and find yourself on an uncharted island somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. As you begin to unravel mysteries of the island, you begin to discover secrets of your own. You will have to understand your past mistakes in order to survive and find your way home…
Having play the roll of a survivor of ocean flight 815, you get to confront your past and seek redemption, and try to find your best and ultimate way home.
The game contains the so called Authentic ‘Lost’ experience, where you get to explorer the vast locations seen in the TV program as well as interact with the lost characters, Jack, Sawyer, Kate.
Filed under action this game will also contain challenges which you must complete in order to survive also with mind puzzles, (as if you don’t already get enough whilst watching lost ).
I forgot to mention this but if you didn’t know already you can change your Crysis Online name to different colours for your allies and maybe enemies to see (not sure to much about enemies).
Here is an image of the crysis font colours that you can use for online. Right click it save as if you want to keep it as a reference.
An example to change the colour of your name to Orange and Red would be. “name $8Your$4NameHere”
In game it would appear something like this “YourNameHere” Which will obviously make your online name stand out among the others.
Clans etc.. find this very useful when having matches. If you want to view your own name don’t forget get into a vehicle and go third person and hit f3!
Colour codes list
Here a list of possible colors within the font…
$0 Black
$1 White
$2 Blue
$3 Green
$4 Red
$5 Cyan
$6 Yellow
$7 Magenta
$8 Orange
Hope this helps!

Apple have now released the new iTouch January upgrade.
The iTouch upgrade can be yours for £12.99 ($19.99) from the official Apple website.
If you wish to purchase the upgrade click here for Apple Uk and here for Apple US . I am going to go through each part of the update step by step so you can decide for yourself whether to upgrade your iTouch.
New Customizable iTouch Home Screen
Break away from the crowd and customize your iTouch home screen to how you want it. This part of the iTouch upgrade has definitely been long coming and in my view should have been on the iTouch from the day they released it.
The i Touch dock can now hold up to 8 home pages and you are able to rearrange all of your home screen icons in any order you wish and you can also now create bookmark shortcuts to your favorite websites to make a 1 touch action to save time when browsing in Safari.
Overall this part of the upgrade seems to be a nice touch by Apple.
iTouch Mail
Apple have decided that the iTouch should be the first ipod with email.
In the January upgrade you can now access your emails which comes in handy for both business and personal use.
The mail upgrade allows you to view emails in html format which displays graphics and photos as well as pdf, Microsoft word and Excel formats. The mail section of the upgrade basically works exactly the same as any PC / Apple Mac email client.
This is the best mail client that any hand held hardware has ever had.
iTouch Maps
The iTouch Maps upgrade comes in very handy if you travel alot by car or foot.
iTouch Maps finds your approximate location and brings up a map which displays directions for where you need to get to.
You can also drop pin points on the map to for points of interest like bars, cinemas and restaurants.
It works the same way as a sat nav but you can be anywhere is the world and it will find where you are.
The only let down to i Touch maps is that you can not view any map if you do not have access to a Wi-Fi connection which can be a let down.
But never the less iTouch Maps is a good part to the January upgrade.
iTouch widgets
The widgets part of the upgrade contains little Apple applications that help with everyday things.
iTouch Weather widget
Get your seven day forecast including the highs and the lows of many places all over the world.
Again you do need a Wi-Fi connection but can give you piece of mind that you wont get soaked when out walking.
iTouch Notes Widget
This widget is very handy for all you forgetful people out there. Write notes for events coming up or even just to set a reminder for a meeting.
It is much the same as the Sticky notes application on the new Apple Mac leopard operating system.
The notes widget can be used for business or personal use.
Overall a very nice and comes in handy.
iTouch Stocks widget
The iTouch stock widget allows to check all your stocks and shares over a course of a day, month or even a whole year. This is definitely a good widget for business men and women who need to find out up to date figures throughout there day.
Overall the iTouch January upgrade in my eye is worth the £12.99 Apple are charging and I would recommend anyone who has the iTouch to purchase it today.
Check back soon for more news on the Apple iTouch.

The 1 thing we all might liked to have seen in crysis is an option to be able to play in co-op mode with at least one friend, a few of games do offer coop play like e.g gears of war, halo and lots of new genre games. Apparently we didn’t get to see this in crysis because of when the group testing was over they found that most people like to play the power struggle mode, which obviously they hoped would hold people’s attention because they didn’t include any other play modes. Although power struggle is quite nice, i and many other people would like to have seen crysis co-op.
Assault Crysis co-op mod ” Fight as One “
“Assault coop” and “Modders in Kombat” Crysis co-op mod ” Fight as One ” have joined forces and are proud to bring you the sequel to the old mod from far cry.
I was reading over at the mod database about this thrilling mod for crysis and how it will change the way we play crysis. Although the author was creating his own levels and maps for us to fight through playing together. It seems like a big step for a coop mod for crysis. Here is the crysis mod for coop updates page:
I definitely want to make the zombies like “I Am Legend”. Since there is a night and day cycle system in crysis, why not make the players fear the darkness? XD Another gamemode I was planning was “survival roleplay”. The goal is that you get to roam around in a huge map(city, village, forest, etc.) and do objectives like taking over a base, saving people, assassinations. I just want to see how to the flowgraph can make this happen
The mod sounds good it can also be integrated with the current crysis campaign missions so we can play through the whole game together, i wonder how many people you could have in a co-op multiplayer!
Just two people would be fine for most, a squad would be even cooler.
I think people will be looking forward to helping each other complete parts of the game, it does also say that once you have died you will stay dead but their will be tools to help revive a team mate.
Fight as One co-op Trailer
Glad to spot this co-op mod, keep your eyes peeled on this one!

I’ve created a PHP and MySQL based script which allows you to create multiple petition’s for users which they will be able to sign on your site. Currently everything for a basic petition script works which is great! This small script didn’t take very long to be honest but your feedback and donations are welcome. Your emails are welcomed too. There are alot of scripts out there that want you to pay and don’t do the job correctly. Now you can just download my free PHP and MySQL petition script! (see above).
What do you think? If your a gamer you have probably heard of the Offset Engine, or Project Offset by now.
Available for both Xbox360 and pc this game looks like it will suit lots of peoples interests, Read on to find out more about project offset and the offset engine, offset editor etc.
If not heres a short piece of history for the project and the Offset team:
” Offset Software started as 3 people: Sam McGrath, Travis Stringer and Trevor Stringer. Initally working out of an apartment and completely self-funded, the engine and all art was created with a tiny budget — just enough to purchase the software and hardware needed for development. The budget was small but the goal was big: to create a next generation First Person Shooter set in a fantasy world (codenamed “Project Offset”), and a powerful game engine to run it.
After a year and a half of programming work by Sam McGrath on the game engine, and with the amazing artistic skills of Travis and Trevor Stringer, the three released the two “Sneak Peek” videos, showing off the technology and world behind Project Offset. The videos took the gaming industry by storm, showing that high quality, next generation technology, graphics, and gameplay rivaling that of the biggest game studios, could still be created by a small team.”
Set in The Lands of Aylon Project Offset looks promising said to cover all the aspects of a good first person shooter with some rpg elements to it.
The Offset team have came up with stunning visuals and a powerful offset engine!
Project Offset will be available for xbox and pc!
This information has been taken from their own website.
Project Offset Engine Information
The Offset Engine is a complete platform for creating next generation games for the Xbox 360 and PC. Every aspect of the engine is designed around the goal of reducing development time and cost, while empowering designers and artists with the tools they need to create spectacular visual effects and immersive environments.
For Designers - The Offset architecture is different from any other engine out there. The game logic and editor are directly linked, allowing level designers to work and think in new ways. The core principle we have been developing around is fast iteration. A designer can block out a level, setup AI, test gameplay, and then iterate on these aspects very quickly. All the game logic runs in the editor which means instant feedback and on-the-fly testing.
For Artists - The Offset Engine empowers artists to create, change and experiment with visuals without needing a programmer. The shader builder, effects editor, and animation editor all share the same graphical interface and node based architecture.
For Programmers - Programmers will appreciate the straightforward layout of Offset’s cross-platform code base. The C++ code is clearly separated into sections for the core engine, renderer, editor, game, and generic libraries. Additionally, all resource files are specified in easy to read XML format, making it easy to track down bugs caused by bad assets.
For Teams - The Offset Engine is designed to scale well to large development teams. A modularized code base, asset manager, and layer system in the editor gives teams the tools they need to organize a next gen project.
Project Offset Locations and The Lands of Aylon
The Lands of Aylon are lands in which free animals and creatures, at this time everything is still under extreme work, but its gradually looking more and more intersting. So far on the project offset website they have listed 6 different location’s.
Here below is a current list of all the question and answers on the project offset site since 17th of January 2007.

Project Offset (working title) is a action game within a fantasy setting containing FPS elements. At its core, the game relies more on player skill and coordination than equipment & ranks.

I want to join the team! How do I submit my application?
Current position openings may be found here. Simply follow the instructions listed below the position(s) you are applying for.
“(Working Title)”? What Gives?
Project Offset is the code name for the game currently in development. Its true name has not been officially announce and, upon its official announcement, will replace the working title currently displayed.
Will Project Offset (working title) be Mod-Friendly?
As with all PCs titles, game modifications (mods) help add to a game’s longevity. Offset Software realizes this and will release tools to help potential mod-makers create new material for extended play.
So if you havn’t checked this game out already, nows the time.
I’ll give the Offset Team a 9/10 for effort so far. Shame theres no release date as of yet but who knows how close it is.

So I got the new Apple iTouch for Christmas and over the next few days I will be posting reviews on different aspects that the newest Apple release has to offer.
This is one great bit of hardware and by far beats any other ipod or mp3 player hands down.
The features of the i Touch are both user friendly and very well presented like most Apple software.
I am going to start my first post with the i Touch Internet browser called Safari which some mac lovers should already be aware of:
Safari connects to the internet using wi-fi connectivity which means you will need to gain access to an internet router to browse the net. Sometimes trying to find an internet connection for the i Touch can be some what annoying, especially when the router is password protected so you cant connect.
Once the itouch has connected to a router (internet connection), it will remember the password for that router so you don’t have to keep typing it in which is a nice touch and I thank Apple for this because it does save time.
Safari is very well presented and works exactly the same as it does on an Apple Mac or even now a PC. Yes you heard me correctly you can now get Safari on your PC.
If you would like to give safari a try on your PC then just go to the official Apple website and download it for yourself.
Safari is the fastest Internet browser you can get and you can see why Apple would want it on the new i Touch, not to mention its their own Internet browser.
Websites on the i Touch look exactly as they would on your home PC or Apple Mac and it truly is a stepping stone for more advanced future products which I am sure Apple will bring out before anyone else!
The bottom line is that safari on the i touch is very well presented and easy to use whether you are bidding on eBay or just checking out the latest sports on BBC.
If you are a gadget and internet lover then the iTouch is definitely for you and I would recommend it hands down over any of its competitors.
Please check back tomorrow for another Apple iTouch review (”,)
