I’ll be surprised if its a brand new mouse as they have made so many expensive mice in a small amount of time.
The speed of the light is most probably referring to either the infrared or laser that a mouse has. Considering their fastest 1000Hz Ultrapolling / 1ms response time mouse at the moment is Razer Precision with 3G Laser :

I wonder how fast the new mouse will let you move. If it is a new mouse…
Well take a look, the vivid screen image looks great. The frame in silver yes this is nothing special we’ve seen a silver frame before, it looks pretty simplistic and the buttons are in the bottom right of the H170 LCD monitor.
Stand hm… now this isn’t very impressive either when you recieve a brand new one of these the stand is easily fixable to the screen itself. There is a hole in the stand which a clip on the bottom of the screens stem will clip into. this is pretty secure. but is very hard to take off and pack away.
The Good
This screen is simple and the frame is small for maximum view. Sound is included as 2 x 2w stereo. The stand takes up minimal room and the screen itself is not bad to look at.
The Bad
Okay a point about these Edge10 screens I’ve had 5 of these and 3 of them have been replaced under warranty because the power was not working on them, the problem was not with my power but something was wrong with the screens. The serial numbers were something close e.g 1110, 1111, 1112. So it probably was a bad batch (let me know if you have similar problems). As i mentioned earlier the stand is hard to decompile. The sound is quite tinny.

Should i buy one?
If your looking for a screen just to replace an old crt monitor or a broken screen then yes, they are cheap and won’t break your bank. If you are looking for something a bit more upto date and more stable.. longer lasting go for something else.

If your a PC Gamer then you know of 3DMark Most probably 3DMark 05 or 3DMark 06, and thats all great but theres something you should know about and thats 3DMark Vantage!
3DMark Vantage is a Benchmarking tool for your PC created by Futuremark, especially good for users that game lots and want to keep their PC up with latest technology. 3DMark Vantage is “the” benchmarking tool for direct x10!
Direct x10 Requires new hardware of a higher spec than dx9 hardware 3D Mark Vantage is suppose to process all the new dx10 features.

So what features does the new 3DMark Vantage give users? Well as we now know Vantage will be taking advantage of all dx10 features.
Geometry Shaders - You will see this in 3DMark Vantage’s Star Simulation if you want to know more on geometry shaders click here for a good article.
Water and Cloth Simulation using the GPU - This was previously done by using the CPU.
Anamorphic flare - you get an anamorphic lens flare when direct light hits the camera (your view).
Lenticular Halo - A Lenticular halo is formed usually around a light and displays a spectrum of colour’s

Motion Blur - motion blur is when objects in your view will become distorted an blurred from movement and motion blur is more commonly used when you move your camera in game, a good example of this is Crysis.
Film Grain Noise - You will usually find this happens if there is a problem with your camera and you get lots of speckles, but it can also be used as a technique of displaying graphics for certain purposes.
Depth of Field - depth of field occurs when the lens/camera and in game will blur out the rest of the screen and only keep what your looking at in focus.

A game recently released a bunch of trailers and features coming from Sierra and created by Radical Entertainment called Prototype in this game you play the role of Alex Mercer a shape shifter with great powers with a mix of combat, destruction and deception powers and abilities. From a glance Prototype looks similar to Assassins Creed where as the main character (Alex Mercer in Prototype and Altair in Assassins Creed) is wearing a hooded top, and in both there are a range of free running type skills involved. A lot of users from the gaming community are comparing the game with GTA most probably because of the streets and the free roam feature.
That aside they are all completely different games.
In Prototype you will use different abilities and Biological weapons to push your way through enemies and wade your way through the deep set storyline finding out more information and unlocking more abilities as you go along.
Enemies? plenty of…
At first you wake wanting to find out about your life before you will need to exploit and annihilate enemies using different disguises of anyone you come across, being a shape shifter. The creators of prototype have explained well why they chose the enemies apparel to why the enemy are fighting. The Black-watch (click here to watch the black watch featurette) being one of those enemies that are the kind that will “STOP AT NOTHING“. The black watch are supposedly the last line of defense against the virus, they will bring many heavy weapons against you.
Wage a secret war against factions with complex agendas of their own, out to capture or kill you. They are your greatest threat and the key to the secrets of your past. Confront them, find those responsible and make them pay.
Right is that it? no…
Multiplayer
Yes! what would a game be now days without a great multiplayer feature? they would not be as replay-able as they are.
Prototype will include at least one multiplayer feature and that is Co-operative play. So your going to be able to play online or over LAN with a friend and play with your cool abilities and biological weapons out.
Prototype is set to be released by September the 15th 2008
I’ll definitely be keeping a close eye on this game. Hope you do to.

Yes at the 2008 game developers conference, Epic games have announced that Gears of War 2 will be releasing November of 2008.
Cliff Bleszinski ( lead designer at Epic games) said that it has been long coming and everyone will not be disappointed with Gears of War 2.
Gears of War 2 will continue to follow the story of Marcus Fenix and his Delta Squad as they fight to save the world and life itself from the attack of the locust horde. Gears of War 2 will consist of its trademark game play which allows for the epic story to continue from where we left it. Epic games have informed the world that this game will not disappoint and however great you have been expecting this game to be , forget it as it will go fare above any of expectations!
So hold onto you chainsaws as Gears of War 2 is coming November 2008.

Today i noticed that crysiseu.com one of the many big crysis community sites had created a section in their forums for far cry 2 and also advertising talk about crysis 2!?!.. already!
I wonder if this is because people(crysis fans) are bored of crysis already? So the communities will have to keep alive by introducing sub categories in their websites, fighting for survival.

Defiance The Movie is set during World War 2 and is about how 3 Jewish brothers (Daniel Craig, Liev Schreiber and Jamie Bell) have escaped from Nazi occupied Poland and have fled to hide in the Belarussian forest of Russia.
Whilst in hiding they join with the Russian resistance fighters and build themselves a village as a way of protecting themselves and all others from danger.

Defiance has alot to offer for people who like both action films and war films.
Daniel Craig plays the leading role in Defiance very well indeed and you will not be able to take your eyes off this 2 hour long movie.
Directed by Ed Zwick this movie will be an all time great especially for Christmas 2008.
